What we collect

Your name, email, and avatar (from Google sign-in or the email you sign up with), the content you create (boards, lists, cards, comments, files), and product analytics (pages visited, clicks, feature usage, heatmaps, and session replays) to improve the Service. Session replays may capture mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and page structure, but input fields are masked and admin routes and internal admin accounts are excluded. When you sign in we also record the time, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string — this documents your acceptance of the terms and helps us investigate suspicious account activity.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. We don't use your content to train AI models. We don't read your boards except when needed to operate the Service, investigate abuse, or when you ask us to for support.

Sharing and visibility

Content on shared boards is visible to the people it's shared with, subject to the per-list visibility settings the board owner controls. Hidden lists are excluded from shared collaborators' access at the server level.

Service providers

We use vetted infrastructure providers to run ClipTask: Vercel (hosting), Convex (database and file storage), Resend (transactional email), and PostHog (product analytics, heatmaps, and session replay). Each receives only the data needed for its role. If we add more providers — for example payments — this policy will be updated first.

Your rights

You can export your content, correct your details, or delete your account and its data by contacting us. Residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period after deletion.
